Focused Mind is accepting new patients for ADHD treatment. Our mission remains to diagnose and treat ADHD in adults and provide accessible care via online, telemedicine appointments. We are committed to following medical standards of diagnostic assessment and safe treatment for adults 18 and up.
We are dedicated to providing stigma-free, compassionate care, and judgment-free discussions about all types of mental health conditions. Our mission is increasing access to mental health care and decreasing the stigma of mental illness.
Svetlana Zak, PMHNP
NP Zak began her career in mental health in 1999. She worked as a nurse at several psychiatric institutions and was licensed as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2007. She has 14 years of experience treating mental health disorders, and has specialized in treatment of serious mental illness. Svetlana believes everyone deserves to be treated with compassion and be given a chance at a better life, a focused mind and a happy mood.

I had such a great experience with Dr. Zak - I've been going in circles trying to get a correct diagnosis and on a treatment plan because all I knew was my brain wasn't working the way it was supposed to and it was affecting my life. Dr Zak listened to my experience with compassion and understanding. She was excellent at communicating my options and the strengths and weaknesses of certain treatments. But, most importantly she made me feel seen as related to my adult adhd. I long suspected that I suffered from adult adhd and she validated my concerns, which has allowed me to be the best version of myself.
